Amber Cross is a singer/songwriter and plays guitar. This is her debut album and it is really fine. She wrote all but one of the songs on the album. The arrangements are sparse, with different combinations of (mostly) acoustic instruments. Her songs are about her life, but she writes in a way that make them so accessible that you can relate to what she says. Reviewed by Sally Goodin
