Clawed – “First Magic Number, The” – [Lalena Records]

The first half of this CD is a lot easier going on the ears than the second, but noise/industrial lovers will really enjoy the entire release. Earlier tracks sound like they are phasing in and out, with 2 bringing to mind a car wash. Track 6 has samples from horse movies, and 8 tweaks a message on an answering machine. Track 9 is a full-out static noise assault. Pick and choose your poison.
