The Aqualads are a 4-piece surf band from Charlotte, North Carolina. Lots of good melodies and playing are on this 2009 release. Most tracks are their own compositions – fun exceptions are covers of Del Shannon’s Runaway and Johannes Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No. 3. This is solid surf with some Spanish and rockabilly influence. Last track is a sweet slow dance.
