The Non Travellin’ Band was a psychedelic band from Madison, WI active from 2012 – 2017. The band featured Lue Lueck, Brother Joseph Tucci, Dead Luke, and others. ‘The band ultimately lived up to their name by never playing a single note outside the city limits.’ “Rest in Peace, Hippie” was their epitaph, recorded in 4 days in 2017.

Comparisons to the Brian Jonestown Massacre and Lupine Howl are not misplaced. Nudie Records has released another winner with these 7 chunks of psych-drenched goodness. The 11-minute and change “A Midnight Ride” is the standout jam. Get out your patchouli. Recommended.
