Gagnrene is the west coast hip-hop dou consisting of The Alchemist and Oh No, tow DJ/producers who met via mutual DJ/producer Evidence at a show. Evidence makes an appearance on track 11; other DJ’s are featured on the album, Prodigy, Roc Marciano (hiphop4dahill2), Roc C, and others.Gangrene makes a lovely appearance on Hip Hop for the Hill vol1 with the title track from this album.Badass lyrics and groovy, grindy samplings from a guy getting arrested for a DUI (track11), a person talking about different mental states and consciousness (track7) who comes back to talk about serotonin causing seizures (track14), to other random yelling and hanging out (track8). Piano samples, grinding sounds in background, sometimes groovy.

A lot of talk about alcohol and drugs, which should be apparent from the album title, so check out what’s marked for FCC, or really, what’s not marked… Play it during Safe Harbor so you can really get those gems, I marked my favorite, you should too. 9 & 10 track together. Get nice and fucked up before throwing this in…
