Zelphabet-Volume L [coll] – [Zelphabet]

humana   4/16/2012   A Library, CD

From its opening track by Lasse Marhaug, with all its layered clickings that sound comfortingly like rain, to the epic-length closing track from Lionel Marchetti that contains a range of sounds (some resembling a piano being tuned amidst dogs barking and campfire cracklings), this compilation is well worth listening to. The 12th installment in the Zelphabet of noise, L contains a highlight from The Legendary Pink Dots, complete with spoken word that sounds vaguely like Vincent Price in “Thriller,” only much better. Enjoy.
