Is it the Thompson Twins, Depeche Mode, or Simple Minds? Listen to this and feel like you???re whisked back to the soundtrack of The Breakfast Club. This four-man band from Los Angeles channels Brit new-wave with vocals and rubberband-y beats. The frenetic pace is upbeat and engaging for the first four tracks, but then the rest seems to fade into a sameness. Not in a bad way, but it???s just that nothing distinguishes itself. A nice bit of nostalgia, nonetheless.
