Shifting blend of several keyboards, varied percussion, soaring trumpets and saxophones. Tribute to the composer of these pieces, Marion Brown. Beautiful, meditative, and often very moving. Mostly gentle, but some tracks, especially 5, are edgier.

Marion Brown played sax with John Coltrane on Ascension, also on Archie Shepp???s Fire Music. Also known as an educator and ethnomusicologist.
