Another fine Hammond B-3 jazz/soul album from the Jack Diamond inheritance! Earland began as a sax player in his native Philadelphia, including some time playing with with under-rated B-3 legend Gene Ludwig from Pittsburgh. Something must have rubbed off – by 1963, he had made the switch to organ. This album features lots of interesting improv and with fine sidemen on all the other instruments. Soulful, creative even on the covers on Side B. Yeah, baby!
