Kylesa, “Time Will Fuse It’s Worth” (Havoc records) 12″, 33rpm
ophelia necro 2/19/2007 A Library
Kylesa are a quintet out of Savannah, Georgia; Corey Barhorst – bass, vocals. Phillip Cope – guitar, vocals. Laura Pleasants – guitar, vocals. Jeff Porter – drums and Carl McGinley – drums, noise. Self described as punk/metal/psychedelic. This is their 3rd full-length album. It is sludge ridden, angst filled, heavy rock and roll bringing together avant-garde experimentalism with rock riffs, gritty male and female vocals and ambient noise interludes. Simply put this is some heavy shit.
