White Hills – “Glitter Glamour Atrocity” – [Thrill Jockey Records]
There is a lot on this CD to please many a DJ palette at KFJC, especially if you love psychedelic rock. Self-described as “fuzzed out motorik spacerock,” White Hills uses guitars, synth, and drums, along with vocals, to take you to many levels even within one song. Some tracks are long enough to go through several tempo changes and moods, so you don’t feel cheated before the song runs its course.
