Swanika – “Volkhoven” – [Pflichtkauf]
around 9am on june 11 1964 Walter Seifert approaches a catholic elementary school in the Volkhoven suburb of Cologne, Germany; with echoes of children playing in the schoolyard and a gloomy synth invocation announcing his arrival. he enters the school just after 9am and, with his pump bracket fashioned mace, proceeds to break the window of a classroom and spray a mixture of paint thinner and motor oil upon the sedentary children with his insecticide sprayer flamethrower. harsh industrial bombardments of beats and electronics narrate the massacre as he continues to attack people fleeing the building until his flamethrower runs out of fuel, at which point he wields his lance made of a triangular scraper and stabs teachers trying to protect the children. as police arrived he fled the campus and poisoned himself with insecticide, but a diluted mixture that did not allow for his immediate suicide, only delayed it. confrontational sound collage with first two tracks introducing our antagonist’s arrival, and each subsequent a victim of his exploits. all tracks bleed together as they burn, approach with caution.
