From this highly regarded surf band from the Netherlands comes an album that really impresses! The tunes, while surf, at first just seem interesting and different – then the influences – Indian, Spanish, mariachi, Israeli, and reggae – become more apparent. Big powerful sound, lush melodies, virtuoso playing. (Some tracks add brass, reeds, or vocals to the quartet.)
