Stillsuit may be the best band in Oakland…. okay California…. okay everywhere. Think Bikini Kill and Free Kitten meets The Shaggs. Political, feminist, queer, punk, noise. All in no particular order. Two guitars and drums. Screeching Yoko Ono style vocals about mental illness, eco-politics, feminism. DIY all the way. Trashed out, fuzzy noise. Off tune vocals and guitars banged and hit as often as strummed. Glorious cacophony and in your face. Don’t fuck with them. They’ll blow you away. I bow down to them.
