Circuit Des Yeux – “Overdue” – [Ba Da Bing]

This 23-year-old from Indiana has a voice that ranges from very deep and dirgey to slightly less deep and goth pretty. Her music definitely summons dark places, especially as the album progresses. Track 1 has cello and strings and is solemn and classical sounding. Personally, I prefer her contribution to the “At Home With The Lloyd Pack” album, but this is a respectable work as well. Be sure to check out the special track (8) which has echoey voices and impressive guitar work.
