TURN THIS SHIT DOWN!! No, seriously though, this album of overblown noise/industrial curb-stomping was designed and mastered to blow out speakers. A sort of Fuck You to all that is worth hating (the urban human condition specifically). I think our speakers can handle it, but you’ve been warned (maybe our listeners should be too). Trickery from the first track, a subtly glitched Yamaha drum loop explodes into blood-red peaked out fuzz and boom; low-ends to get your bowels churning. Subsequent tracks alternate between cracked breakbeat clanking and scuzzy decimation. Velvet smooths things out with some crackle drone before De Sade returns with searing vengeance. The later tracks are more just thick Thorny blankets of audio disease, with Virginity never seeming to want to finish (though it does 10 seconds too early). I liked the earlier tracks of amphetamine laced beats fueling the orgasmic distortion. They got a beat, you can’t dance to em, but I sure as fuck will.
