Shivvers s/t [Hyped2Death]

Hyped2Death scores big again! For fans of vintage power pop, this is a major find. Active for only a few years at the dawn of the ’80s, the Shivvers had it all…a hot lead singer who wrote killer pop tunes, and a band that could deliver them with amazing crash & jangle. Better than Blondie, IMHO. They only released one now-legendary single (tracks #1 & #6), but H2D scoured the archives and compiled this brilliant CD of studio and live tracks. The verdict? The single was no fluke. This is the ‘great lost band’ of American power pop.
