Talibam! – “Cosmopolitude” – [Esp-Disk]

Seriously funny album from Talibam, who I remain reluctant to make genre-specific, but are self-proclaimed as “no-school rap.” Drummer Kevin Shea and keyboardist Matt Mottel play a tweaked, electro-pop kind of style with hilarious vocals like “I want to do the humpty dumpty dance behind the rodeo bleachers with you,” and some naughty business as well. Drop the needle on either side, they’re pretty similar, but both fun. Check it..
