Moon Duo – Mazes Remixed

Ripley Johnson and Sanae Yamada, collectively known as Moon Duo weave guitar, organ, psychic and noise into beautifully crafted, layered kraut rock compositions. Moon Duo has commissioned six producers to remix their work. Sonic Boom, of Spacemen3 has remixed two of the tracks. The other mixologists are Gary War, Psychic Ills, Purling Hiss, Cave, and Eagle Boston. Melodic and psychedelic to the core .Psychedelia and 12′ inch vynal are alive and well. Side A is more mellow, while side B has a rougher edge and blisters cool psychedelic guitar riffs. Ripley Johnson is also a member of Wooden Shjips.
