Shig & Buzz – “Live Adventures of Shig and Buzz” – [Addison Avenue Music]

Shig Komiyama (also of Mach IV and Shitones) does the honors on drums on this live recording with Roger Rocha (Four Non Blondes) on guitar, Johnny Hamilton (also Berzerkers) on bass and Yoon-ki Chai on keyboards and violin. They blow the roof off with their virtuosity and lush sound, especially unique with Yoon-ki’s electric violin.

This was recorded live during their 2006 tours with the Mermen and Violent Femmes and was released in 2008. Absolutely splendid, recommended!
