Wave Sleep Wave – “Wave Sleep Wave” – [Curb Cut Records]

Jerry Adler’s voice takes me back to the 80s somehow, but his guitar and the drum work of Yuval Lion create a rock atmosphere that is engaging in a more contemporary way. This release has some fairly fast-paced tracks (1, 4, 9) interspersed with slower, more psychedelic numbers (5, 6, 7), so you can find something appropriate to whatever kind of set you’re playing.
