Philippe Petit – “Oneiric Rings On Grey Velvet” – [Aagoo]

Petit is a French electronic artist. This release is part one of a planned trilogy entitled Extraordinary Tales of a Lemon Girl. He composes, plays, edits, and mixes an arsenal of instruments including electronic psalter ion (a dulcimer like stringed instrument), found sounds, a synthesizer, piano, turntables with vinyl recordings. The result is big, almost orchestral, cinematic soundscape that is ominous at times.
