Moon, Damon and The Whispering Drifters – “Lungs, Dirt & Dreams” – [Adair Park]

This was recorded in a log cabin on top of a mountain in Georgia. Aside from a couple of short, instrumental interludes, there is only one fairly upbeat track (9), while the rest are rather dark psych numbers with Moon’s echoey vocals arising out of the murk. Sometimes there is a country twang that brings a Western feel to the music (10), and 8 has electronic burbling noise. 6 has nice bells and is pretty instrumentation that reminds you of standing in line at Disneyland’s Tomorrowland rides.
