Decimus – “Decimus 2″ – [Alga Marghen]

Two side-longs of electronic computer drones, with a subtle rhythmic underbelly. This is a group of Italians making pretty sounds. Electronics, various instruments, cello, piano frame, clarinet, violin. Side A is more electronic is nature, slowly evolving, definitely trance inducing. Slow pulses at the end, floating tones in the middle. Ends very abruptly. Side B sounds a little more spooky with hints of a broken music box (or haunted merry go round), and more industrial sounds like metal and scratches. Super interesting; the closer you listen, the more you hear.
