Skin Graft – “Blackout” – [Tusco/embassy]

Skin Grafting is a gnarly medical procedure involving the transplantation of skin after serious trauma (don’t look it up if you’re weak). I can picture this record being a sort of soundtrack to this. Serious dark drone under this insane crunchy electronic noise, almost like bones being crushed and skin being ripped. I love the horrible and disgusting images this creates. Bleeped out swearing, screaming, yelling and ambulances lay in between the frequencies. The best part is reading other reviews of this one man filth pig, Wyatt Howland, I don’t seem to be alone. If you have an avid imagination like I do, it leaves harsh realities of the everyday horrors of unplanned death. The best kind of noise in my opinion – something that leaves you feeling shaken and nauseous.
