Lande, Art & Miller, Mark – “World Without Cars” – [Synergy Music]

Art Lande on piano and Mark Miller on sax or flute give us some tracks with very clear sound, quality playing and original sound. Often lovely and mysterious, this album’s tunes include some spontaneous improvisation and sometimes lean a bit toward contemporary classical. Track 5, Mary Ellen Figment uses spoken word for an enigmatic effect.
