Secret Samurai – “Zanshin” – [Muad'Dib Records]

Surf revival from San Diego, because California is the capitol of SURF. Secret Samurai consists of 4 guys playing with the classic surf band lineup of guitar, keys, bass and drums. There is reverb and tremolo picking a-plenty and echoes of the beach, of course. The flavors here range from Russian, to Turkish to Latin. This some solid surf with a classy sound.
