Sparhawk, Pollard, and Livingston make great rock music together. The guitars (especially the bass) are consistently strong, the drums solid, and the vocals clear and engaging. I’ve marked the ones that got me moving on the cover. They may be retro, but that’s not a bad thing. How can you lose with lyrics like “Everyone loves power, everyone loves cake?” (B5) And the great thing is, each song is short and sweet.
