John the Baker and the Malnourished “Fire Marshall Law” [Controlled By Plague]

Fire Marshall Law is politically charged punk-metal chaos, complete with sardonic lyricism and a furious onslaught of heavy down-tuned riffing. Malnourished includes members of Brainoil, Ill Gotten Gainz, and Dystopia. Technically speaking, the tunes are relatively simple but for fuck’s sake, this is hardcore! These guys invoke images of being repeatedly stabbed in the eye by a hideous black scorpion with an endless reservoir of lethal venom. This recording is JTB’s musical autobiography, released in the aftermath of his live venue (Burnt Ramen Studios) being shut down by the local Richmond Police and Fire Marshall.
