Cut Hands – “Afro Noise 1″ – [Very Friendly]

Cut Hands is a solo project of William Bennett, a UK sound artist known for his provocative and disturbing work with Whitehouse. An intriguing combination of electronic and instrumental sounds with a strong presence of African drumming. Some tracks are melodic and rhythmic, others are flat out noise. Booklet notes by Bennett and Mimsy DeBlois are incomprehensible to me, let me know if you figure them out.

I liked this very much, one of the most original releases that I have heard in a long time.
