Realicide – “Lifelong Exit” – [Self-release]

Realicide self released, Sept. 2010 & limited to 300 sopies. This 7″ is layered with haunting pronoia. According to their website Realicide Youth Records, (which features tons of free downloads)

“Realicide, the collective band and publications label, is our assertion of contemporary punk media, bridging aesthetic diversity through the idea that punk is an experimental and malleable life philosophy, not limited by precedent or degrees of popularity. Beyond art and more than hypothetical, Realicide is strength for change in one’s own life. It is the ability to destroy a reality of abuse and slavery, in favor of seeking alternatives built upon respect and compassion. When fear is the norm, love is radical.”

A collective of over a dozen artists stemming from the midwest, bay area, none identified on the release besides the final mixing by Robert Inhuman. The site seems pretty inactive since October 2010. Has reality set in? Tags like ‘gabbergrind’, ‘noisecore’, & ‘anarcho punk’ as well as ‘under 200 listeners’ featured in it’s tag cloud. Gristle-ish invasions of the nocturnal mid nations. If you like this, check out the collections Microphone Compilation (latrogenesis) and Triskaidekaphobia (ratskin).
