Angeli, Paolo & Fukushima, Takumi – “Itsunomanika” – [ReR Usa]

Both Fukushima on violin and Angeli on prepared Sardinian guitar do vocals. Songs with Italian and Japanese lyrics are featured. Although the music can be poignant and moving, vocals sometimes take on the rough tones I associate with samurai movies. The guitar is sometimes sounds amplified, fills in for percussion and bass, and makes the duo sound like a bigger ensemble.
