Baudrillard, Jean – “Reading of Jean Baudrillard” – [Tapeworm, The]

A few older (British?) women read the work of Jean Baudrillard on this Tapeworm cassette. The way the women stumble over the words (just as we all would) is charming, just as is their attempt to read some passages as a chorus (2). Finally, they give up on that and go back to reading singly. The content of the readings reflects the French philosopher???s beliefs about artificial intelligence, knowledge, virtual reality, and Moebius strips. My favorite quote is from 1: ???Why talk to each other when it???s so easy to communicate???? Use this for mixing or alone when you feel like introducing some semiotics into your set.
