Captain Trip has digitally remastered and released this 1977 gem 30 years later on a limited 1,500 copy run. This was originally released through the Sky label out of Germany and was re-issued twice since.?? Features avant experimental German composer Asmus Tietchens on synths and?? kraut rockin??? CAN bassist Holger Czukay.?? Eno puffs a cloud of soft slow flowing ambient textures & piano based harmony into Cluster???s more playful electronic pulse peculiarities.?? Very soothing instrumental pieces that are pleasant, warm and vibrant and yet somehow oddly detached & unfamiliar.?? Eno & Cluster introduce subtle layers & sustained overtones that tip the balance just enough towards the avant scale to keep the ambient drone scope of things from becoming redundant.?? Variety is elemental to this release as Cluster & Eno slip in bemoaned guitar wails and even some unexpected percussive & rhythmic techniques to broaden the trippy sound even further.?? Excellent!
