8 tracks recorded at 5 sessions in 1960 and 1961 with Eric Dolphy on alto sax, bass clarinet, piccolo, flute and many other fine musicians.

Track 1 and 7: a young Abby Lincoln ??? she makes Tain???t Nobody???s Bizness if I Do a whole new song!
Tracks 2-4: excellent work by trumpet player Booker Little. Track 5: showcases Dolphy on flute.
Track 6: Stormy Weather, very spare with quite a few unaccompanied solos.
Track 8: fine rendition of Body and Soul with great work by trumpeter Roy Eldridge and classic Dolphy alto sax.

Absolutely first rate, highly recommended!
