Krysmopompas, “Heute Schlafen- Morgen Aufwachen”, S-S Records, 12″ Double LPBerlin-based KRYSMOPOMAS started in 2004, using guitar/ bass/ drums+ an 80ties Casio keyboard. They took their name from?? a mysterious terrorist group from the German Sci-Fi/Trash movie “Kamikaze 1989″ (from 1981) (with Rainer Werner Fassbinder as a main actor. In 2006, Krysmopompas recorded a 7 song – Mini CD (“Mitmachen beim Abbauen”), followed by a 8 song-CD in August 2007: “Mehr Kilometer pro Leben.” Both are sold-out. But all that 15 songs have been re-released on vinyl on this double album on the S-S record label. Modern post-punk with new wave elements.?? German vocals, bass, gutar, Casio and drums.????They are influenced by Fassbinder’s ideas, the writers Rolf-Dieter Brinkmann & Eugene Ionesco, and the music of Neue Deutsche Welle bands such as EA-80, Fehlfarben, and Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle, classic Krautrock like Neu and Can, as well as Wire, The Units, and Devo.
