Einsturzende Neubauten ??? Alles Wieder Offen A-Library CD {Potomak}

Einsturzende Neubauten indelibly left their mark on everyone from Henry Rollins to Crash Worship, Liars, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and countless others.?? It???s been 27 years since their debut masterpiece Kollaps and with Alles Wieder Offen they still manage to be on the cutting edge of sound.?? Though arguably, these recordings are nowhere near as clamorous as their earlier works.?? Still they employ hand crafted scrap iron instruments & clang percussion and Blixa is still on vocal duties having long since traded his harsh maniacal screams for warm melodic singing.?? The experimental & industrial overtones still vaguely apply but the presentation is more focused upon intriguing rhythms & almost German folk structures.?? A slight lean towards electronica along with classical string arrangements is also utilized but they???re not dead set on one specific genre.?? The sound is engaging with an immense tension & aggressive potential that is realized but tempered by dark tones & a brooding thematic like Depeche Mode???s ???Black Celebration??? minus the new wave pop & with a much stronger bite.???? These guys still keep things fresh & are nowhere near collapse.
