This Limited hand numbered (#1123) 7″ split was released in 2004 and somehow escaped us. Side A from Adult. (Detroit male/female synthpunk duo). Adult. has been around since 1998. Adult. covers The Dirtbombs “Pray for Pills”. Nikola’s vocals are remniscent of “Rhythm Box” from the Liquid Sky soundtrack. A groovey and danceable number with new wave roots. Side B The Dirtbombs cover Adult.’s “Lost Love” giving it the rock and roll treatment. The Dirtbombs started in Detroit in 1995 as a side project and was originally conceived as a ???singles band??? and were to record only 7??? records. Their record label (In The Red) soon persuaded them otherwise. This 7″ plays at 45rpm and there is no bad language.
