Of course, we had often heard of the city in the clouds,
growing up it was a story that uncles and aunts always made
sure the younglings heard, even if they didn’t believe it.
Angels forsaking harps for guitars, the idea of electricity
somehow being in these invisble airborn castles…even if
you did not study Skepticism in school, it was a bit hard
to believe that such a beautiful thing could exist. And the
fact that NO ONE could claim, while sober, of having been
there…that didn’t help further the cause any. So imagine my
sublime surprise to find the city spinning out of this
“Color Wheel” of sound. I tell you my brothers, Rodelius
and Moebius, only slide this disc into the slot betwixt your
videodrome blastule and your engenderments, and vibrate above
all of this wretched fleshiness. Behold a new church music,
behold the rebirth of the Pied Piper, beam this release into
outer space, it beckons brilliantly. -Thurston Hunger
