Afrirampo is angels, blood, candy, dirt, and electricity. Campfire Girls in Osaka war paint. Oni (guitar/vocals) and Pikachu (drums/vocals) gleefully demonstrate their command of every kind of musical anarchy there is. They want to eat good food, they want to count off 1-2-3-4! like Dee Dee, they want to stuff cute little hamsters inside their amplifiers, they want to yell bye bye. When one of the Afrirampos screams, the other screams in solidarity. Every power chord and squealing guitar solo is about one millimeter away from utter feedback chaos. They take no prisoners; in fact if Afrirampo had prisoners I bet the prisoners would be turned loose as long as they promise to help the girls wreck stuff. Can I bring Oni and Pikachu home with me?
