Spanish collective that’s been going for a decade or so, now
appears to be down to a duo, deliver burrowing beats, basso
profundo, with plenty of stop-and-feed the woofers moments.
Little static surges, clipped from record run-out grooves and
spread out to form rhythms. Mix in soda pop slap percussion.
Various disembootayed male vocals spliced into the mix
(especially on Part One). There’s a nice whiff of Basic Channel
in some of the doppler subway moves. Maybe this is slouch
dancing? Thick but with a soul soft side, the heavy headphones
mix makes for a nice din cushion.
