Orquesta El Macabeo – “El Sueno / Cogiendo Pon” – [Electric Cowbell]

Orquesta El Macabeo (pronounce OR-KESTA EL MOCK-AH-BAY-OH) is a underground salsa band from Puerto Rico gives us lots of groove in these two tracks. El Sueno (EL SWAIN YO) means “the dream”. Cogiendo Pon (KO-HEE-EN-DO PONE) means “taking a free ride” implying that that ride is unearned. Traditional salsa sounds with a new perspective from musicians with a ska background.
